The BEAM Team

Baptist Evangelism Aviation Ministry

BEAM is a local church evangelism transportation ministry with the goal of reaching remote villages of Alaska and Canada with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

The Task

There are hundreds of villages across Alaska and Canada without a Gospel witness.

The Team

The Lord has put together a team of missionaries focused on reaching these remote regions and beyond.

The Tool

The Lord has blessed in equipping us with the tools necessary to reach these regions.

Will you pray with us?

In order to engage in this ministry, a hanger will be a necessity. A hanger will provide a place to store the Lord’s airplane, in winter and other inclement weather. It will also provide a place to work on maintenance and upkeep on the airplane, as well as space for other ministry activities. Thanks for praying with us about thi

Hanger Project

In order to base the aviation outreach ministry here in Southeast Alaska, we need to purchase land and build an aircraft hanger to house the Lord’s aircraft. We now have the goal to raise between $140,000 and $160,000 for the land and hanger. We are asking churches to help us with this opportunity. We are trusting that God will supply the funds and facilities needed to reach out into the regions beyond for the Great Commission. God has so faithfully provided thus far and we praise his name for his goodness and grace every step of the way. If you would like to help us with this project, we are sure the Lord would bless you for it.

Project N181XL

This is N181XL, a 1966 Cessna 180 that was donated to our ministry br Bro. Larry Sexton, a missionary who used this airplane on the mission field of Mexico and Central America for many years. We have since worked at getting the airplane back into top condition and are looking forward to using this airplane in evangelism outreach soon. Pray with us about this project!

PNG Airplane Project

Praise the Lord for answering prayer in this exciting project! Bro. Jim Blume, former missionary in PNG for many years, used a Cessna 185 extensively in his ministry. Several years ago he had to come off the field and felt led to offer the airplane to our ministry. We were scheduled to take a trip to PNG in 2020 to retrieve this airplane but Covid shutdowns delayed the trip. However, the Lord opened doors and in the spring of 2022, we were able to go to PNG where we disassembled the airplane, trucked it to the coast, and packed it in a container for a trip by ship back to the US. The airplane arrived in California a few months later where it was then loaded on a trailer and delivered to Oshkosh, WI where another ministry is assisting us with the reassembly and registration process. Please be in prayer with us as we work to get this airplane back in the air!

Gospel Video Ad Project

We are very excited about the potential available for getting the Gospel into remote regions we are unable to get to personally. We have made several Gospel videos and through youtube advertisement are able to send them to specific regions. As of late we have advertised these videos in the coastal towns and villages in this region. We have had thousands of views every week and a good percentage of them watch the entire video. This is a tremendous opportunity to get the message of then Gospel to folks we may never be able to talk to. Please pray for this ministry. If you would like to help us expand this outreach, please contact us.
